The next generation of 3D printing from Formlabs, introducing the Form 3. With the innovated technology of Low Force Stereolithography (LFS), 3D printing now can balance detail and speed, giving you finer print detail and quicker print times. The optical system, with a laser spot 40% smaller; sustains a precise, denser laser spot to ensure accurate and repeatable prints. Perpendicular printing provides crisp edges on prints. Another added features is Remote Printing. For those who want printing to be done overnight or they are not in the office, as soon as you have files ready, Remote Printing allows users to start the printer via internet connection.

The fully self-contained Light Processing Unit (LPU) was designed for ease-of-maintenance. If is modular and user-replaceable for service in the field.

The form 3 has a small foot print, with dimensions of 15.9"L x 14.9"D x 20.9"H (40.5L x 37.5D x 53cm). Quicker print times are achieved due to resins not needing to be mixed between every layer. The soft release from a flexible resin tank enables easy clean up by requiring small and minimal supporting. Tight tolerancing make for better fitting parts and finer details.

The Build Platform (5.7" x 5.7") can fit approximately 60 women's rings, for jewelers, or 60 small parts (ex: 1" x 1/4"). Print times depend on the complexity of the item and resin used.

For commissioned jewelry, use Standard Grey Resin (262-0240, sold separately) to create excitement as well as deliver peace of mind to your clients by providing prototypes they can touch and try on. Then print your jewelry using Castable Wax Resin (262-0390, sold separately, see related products). It is engineered for a smooth finish with clean edges and clean burnout; perfect for direct investment casting. Whenever you are going to use more than one resin, we recommend purchasing an additional tank (see related products) to switch resins quickly and easily.

Two-year warranty on the Form 3 printer (machine and parts) is included in this package. It also comes complete with a two-year Pro Service Plan (PSP). The Pro Service Plan includes customized training sessions, phone support, hot swap (repair or replacement) and priority email support. See related products for more information.
