SUNBURST® Midgets are on a 3/32" shank and are for finishing and polishing hard-to-access areas. The sharp, clean, aluminum oxide grit with a unique, durable plastic binder throughout their body enables them to work faster and last longer than rubber wheels, brushes, buffs and conventional sanders. Grits are color coded for easy identification.
SUNBURST Midgets generate minimal dust and heat and eliminate the need for polishing compound. Ideal for finishing, smoothing and high-luster polishing of all precious, semi-precious and non-precious metals, acrylics and ceramics. Sold in packages of 12 pieces or packages of 72pieces or in an 18 piece assortment.
Recommended operating speeds for most applications is 8,000-12,000 RPM, because at these speeds, pinpoint accuracy is more easily maintained (5,000 RPM for woodworking). Lower speeds allow a softer touch, greater flexibility and more subtle results. Higher speeds provide more aggressive material removal.
