Light Blue Mounted Stones incorporate a unique Sol Gel ceramic abrasive (3M Cubitron grain) with Aluminum Oxide for precision grinding. Designed for grinding high-carbon, mild, and stainless steel, as well as nonferrous alloys, these stones cut faster and last significantly longer than standard mounted abrasives - delivering 2–3 times the cut rate and wheel life of our Red and Blue Mounted Stones. Their superior bond enhances form and radius holding, and they can be dressed with Tru-Stone for optimum results. Ideal for applications requiring exceptional edge stability and surface finish.
