Silicon Carbide Vitrified Mounted Points are very hard and sharp abrasives produced in 2 types.

Black Silicon Carbide-Vitrified is used to grind brass, soft bronze, rubber, non-ferrous metals, glass, stone, plastics, acrylics. Black in color (see related products).

Green Silicon Carbide-Vitrified is considered the purer premium silicon carbide used to sharpen and grind carbide cutting tools, cemented carbides. Greenish in color.
