Product Description
Our tapered rolls are particularly useful on jobs with channels, fillets, and irregular concave contours. When the roll is held at a 45° angle to the work, it can really reach into angles and corners. When the angle is reduced, greater abrasive surface is used, resulting in faster cutting action.
Made of resin-bonded aluminum oxide cloth. The same self-renewing feature of straight cartridge rolls is present in tapered rolls. And the same automatic fabrication techniques ensure that every tapered roll is tightly and uniformly wound, producing a balanced tool that maintains a true center, with no whipping or wobble at high speeds. All have 1/8" arbor hole so use with either A6 (1/8" shank) or A10 (1/4" shank) Mandrel for Abrasive Cartridge Rolls (sold separately). Max. speed: 16,000 to 20,000rpm. Sold in boxes of 100.
