Product Description
These color-coded 3" 3M™ Radial Bristle Discs have flexible bristles with abrasive particles embedded throughout—no polishing compound needed! Choose from aluminum oxide or pumice (pink) in grits ranging from 80 to 1 micron.
3" diameter discs are for use on your bench lathe or buffing motor. The bristles conform nicely to curves and textures and can be used for cleaning firescale, removing scratches, and polishing tasks. They are excellent on precious and base metals including gold, silver, copper, pewter and brass.
These discs are used stacked together for broader surface coverage. Each package includes one 1/4" plastic hub for mounting on a left or right tapered spindle (Extra hubs sold separately). The total of discs stacked together can be adjusted for your needs.
- 3" diameter with 3/8" arbor hole
- 80 – 1 micron grit range
- Packs of 10 or 40 available
- Conforms around edges and details without gouging
- Embedded with aluminum oxide abrasive. Pink discs contain pumice instead.
- Max operating speeds: 20,000rpm. Recommended speed for most applications: 15,000rpm.
