The GIA® Duplex II Refractometer is designed to "spot" read cabochons or small facets with diameters less than 1mm. This top-of-the-line desk model has a removable eyepiece magnifier that enlarges RI scale image. Hinged lid protects glass working area from dust and abrasion. Complete with affixed chart of most-used RI's, polarizing filter, dust cover & a ten-gram bottle of RI liquid. Store the RI liquid in a cool dark place.
