Product Description
These color-coded 6" 3M™ Mounted Radial Bristle Disc Wheels have flexible bristles with abrasive particles embedded throughout—no polishing compound needed! Choose from aluminum oxide or pumice (pink) in grits ranging from 80 to 1 micron.
6" diameter discs are for use on your bench lathe or buffing motor. The multi-layer (8-ply) construction provides the flexibility of smaller bristle discs with the efficiency of a full-size wheel.
The bristles conform nicely to curves and textures and can be used for cleaning firescale, removing scratches, and polishing tasks. They are excellent on precious and base metals including gold, silver, copper, pewter and brass.
- Each 6" disc is approx. 1/2" thick with a 1" arbor hole.
- 80 – 1 micron grit range.
- Sold individually. Each wheel has eight stacked discs mounted on a plastic hub.
- Includes telescopic bushing/flange to accommodate other arbor sizes (1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and 7/8"). Tapered spindle adapter (145-1931) sold separately.
- Maximum operating speeds: 10,000rpm for 6" discs.
