The HMR-401 is perfect for small planishing jobs and delicate texturing work. The head features two 13mm round faces: one flat and one slightly domed, both polished to a mirror finish to help remove tool marks.
Part of the Precisionsmith line, these hammers are designed for detailed tasks and made to the exacting standards of all Fretz hammers. Heads are cast from 420 stainless steel and hardened to 50 HRC. Handles are made from oiled hardwood and are shaped and weighted to balance the head perfectly. Made in Vietnam.
