Product Description
Raising hammers are used to raise sheet metal into a bowl against a stake or other surface without thinning the metal, but you can also use them to raise and planish concave curves in metal. The narrow faces of this MKR-3 are perfect for creating smaller concave shapes. This hammer is part of the Fretz Maker series which was designed to deliver quality hammers at a more affordable price point with handles made from American ash. Fretz casts all their hammer heads from 420 stainless steel and tool hardens them to 50 HRC. Made in Vietnam.
