Product Description
The Galloni Pressovac Dual offers a fully automatic melting and casting system, designed for jewelers seeking absolute perfection in the results of the casting process. For the user, simply place the metal in the crucible, position the cylinder, and start the machine to initiate the entirely automatic operating cycle. Initially, a high vacuum is created before melting, followed by the introduction of helium gas, which, due to its characteristics, contributes to cleaning both the cylinders from wax residues and the metal during melting. This inert gas is essential for obtaining extremely thin pieces with perfectly smooth surfaces. The low-frequency pulse system raises the metal to the casting temperature and keeps it uniformly melted.
Temperature control is ensured by an optical pyrometer for temperatures up to 2100°C (suitable for platinum and steel) and by immersion with a type "S" thermocouple up to 1450°C (suitable for gold, silver, and bronze) inside the graphite crucible. At this point, by pressing a button, the entire crucible/cylinder system automatically rotates 90°, and the metal, once cast uniformly and controlled in the cylinder, is automatically pressurized at 3 bar with Argon gas. This high and rapid pressurization is essential to achieve complete and homogeneous filling, especially for metals with a narrow melting range and fast solidification. The result is a dense, compact, and capillary-distributed casting capable of ensuring consistently perfect results.
