Product Description
This adapter is not required for any Air Do X handpieces sold after January 2024, as those models were updated by the manufacturer to accept GRS® QC collets directly. To confirm, look for SPH3 marked on the back of the handpiece.
This adapter is designed for older Air Do X handpieces to securely hold our GRS® QC Traditional Graver Holders (Item 8559987). It allows for fast, efficient graver swaps during sharpening—without removing the tool from the holder—making it a seamless fit for your GRS power honing workflow.
Key Details:
The standard Air Do X handpiece holds the supplied collets and 3.5mm gravers.
This adapter allows compatibility with GRS QC collet/holders in older handpieces.
Air Do X collets can accept GRS gravers without this updated inner shaft.
The inner shaft is only needed if you're using GRS collets/holders to hold your gravers.
