Busch® Carbide Pavé Cut - 447AU
One step instead of two and 50% faster! Engineered with precision in Germany, the newly developed Busch® Pavé Burs (447AU) are made of long-lasting carbide and are a unique, (patent-pending) combination of a twist drill and a round bur. This game changing bur allows the need for only one tool/bur for pre-drilling, shaping and enlarging!
All Busch® AU style carbide burs have precision-cut edges, so they cut more aggressively and are longer lasting than standard carbide. Well suited for use on hard metals (such as platinum, white gold, titanium, and steel). These burs are perfectly shaped to prepare your jewelry for pavé setting. Recommended speed is 5,000-10,000rpm. 3/32" (2.38mm) shank. Set includes sizes 008-016, also sold individually, in multiples of 2.
After drilling it is necessary to make a clean cross cut with a Busch® 231 F/FL Circular Saw (see related products). Choose the saw thickness (0.2mm - 0.3mm) to cut the desired notches for the stones. Recommended speed for Circular Saw: 7,500 - 30,000rpm. 3/32" (2.38mm) shank. Made in Germany.
